Wherever you do your Scuba Diving in the world - and there are many places to choose from - the basic principles are the same in relation to safe diving and pleasure.
Whilst 'Scuba Diving' may conjure up some James Bond type thoughts - and why not - Scuba is an easy sport or pastime to get into, wherever you live in the world. There are some exceptions of course, but scuba facilities are available seemingly wherever there are people! So, to help you find a scuba diving facility near you, we intend to build the biggest resource of scuba sites on the web. Just watch this space!
Anywhere there is water - or so it seems - there will be provision for scuba diving - either organised or ad hoc! Up to you - All year round in warmer places, and even the Atlantic winter has attractions for some! You are only restricted by you locale and enthusiasm for scuba.
Because it is exhilarating - yet relaxing. It certainly helps you to focus your attention on the 'task' in hand. The best way to actually show you why to scuba, is to get you started on a course and experience it at first hand. Not as difficult as you might think.

Scuba diving is a new world. A world that yet remains largely unexplored, and one full of surprises. (Most of them pleasant!) Throughout these pages we will tell you what to expect when scuba diving, what it will cost and of course what to wear.
The best way to start scuba, is to look up your local dive centre -
there are many - and just talk it through. You will get hooked - but
conversely to a fish being landed - yours will be a reversal of that
process, as you get played 'into' the underwater world.
